NEEDED!!
we are looking for volunteers to help out at the northumberland fisheries museum!
 
This could be an exciting way to fill up some extra hours - you can work as little or as much as you want!
 
The museum is looking for people to help out with admissions at the museum, talking with visitors, selling gift items or tickets, or helping out during events.
 
if you are interested in exploring this opportunity you can phone the museum at 485-4972 or just drop by the museum at
71 front street in the old cnr station in pictou.
 
come in and talk to someone soon about helping out this summer!

Northumberland Fisheries Museum & Heritage Association

Please consider supporting the Northumberland Fisheries Museum & Heritage Association through associate membership. Not only will you be supporting the work of the museum but also the education division that travels to schools and communities from October to May through out the Maritimes. This helps the youth and communities to be aware of their rich fishing heritage and encourage them to be proud of it.

As an associate you will receive:

-         Semi annual news letters detailing current activities of the museum and interesting stories from the archives.

-         Personal invitations to special events and presentations.

-         Membership ID good for free admission to the museum.
